  In 1988 Mike and a partner opened J&M with the goal of being the premiere Corvette performance and restoration center in New England. They built a solid reputation quickly and experienced unparalleled growth in this field immediately. In 1996 Mike and his partner ended their partnership and Mike became the sole owner of J&M. Mike’s vision was to include other performance related services for all manufactures. Using similar techniques J&M experienced success quickly with these new services and brought J&M to a whole other level.

    As time went on and the industry changed from mainly mechanical to electronic J&M was able to adjust to these changes. These changes required a change in philosophy and capabilities. Design, tuning and equipment all needed to be upgraded. Mike took on the challenge of becoming an expert in electronic tuning and with the incorporation of a State of the Art Dynojet dynamometer Mike quickly became a premiere tuner. As time went on and the field of electronic tuning grew, he continued to study and was able to stay step by step with the changes.

General Manager- Brandon has been employed with J & M since 2008. He brings over 10 years of Retail, Power sports and electronics store management experience to us. His experience with growing new businesses is a very useful tool as we start to look at new areas to serve our customers. Brandon’s areas of responsibilities are sales, merchandising, staffing, advertising and general facility management. We currently are looking to grow and become the premiere location for all Motorsports, Power sports sales and service and Brandon holds a key position in our company.

Performance and Fabrication Technician- Oscar Jensen

  Oscar has been in the automotive industry since 1982. He has been employed by J&M Motorsports since 2000. Oscar has become a key member of our Performance team. He has vast experience in Performance engineering and diagnostics. Oscar’s knowledge of Performance comes from extensive experience with applications such as Superchargers, Turbos, NOS systems and Naturally Aspirated motor systems from all manufactures. He is our “Go to Guy” for all High Performance projects and is always willing to share his expertise in all areas of general repair. Oscar is currently becoming versed in EFI tuning and is a key member of our tuning team. Oscar currently holds a CT emissions inspectors license.

Performance and Restoration Technician- Donald Hyde

  Donny has been in the automotive industry since 1980. He has been with J&M Motorsports since 1993 as a Corvette Restoration Specialist. Currently Donny is responsible for most restoration projects and has a reputation as one of the finest in the area. His work is impeccable and he has a knack of increasing a vehicles value upon completion of the project. He is an expert in all carburetion and mechanical dynotuning. Donny’s years of experience with older vehicles has made him a key component of our diagnostic general repair team. He holds a CT emissions inspectors license as well.
