You must have an emissions test every other year. The fee is $20

Over the next two years, you will be sent a notice in the mail with your test date that provides a generous time period for getting it done. Why get the test done early?

The test is easy and efficient.

Any motorist whose vehicle does not have the emissions test by its due date will not be allowed to renew the registration on that vehicle.

You have 60 consecutive days from the date of the initial test to have your vehicle's emissions problems fixed and pass a one-time free re-test at the original test center.
