Our inspiration comes from many standpoints in life. Formula one, Indy Car, Cart, 24 hours of LeMans,Nascar, and all forms of drag racing. These various racing forms have seen exceptional results in reliability challenged by the harshest of conditions. For instance Formula one engines and management systems pump out an incredible 750 to 800 bhp from only 3000ccs for 500 plus miles of extreme racing, a phenomenal feat. Weather it be the simplest of modifications or the most complex of designs, there is no substitute for reliability. Our ideas thrive on reliability from a budgets standpoint as well as an enjoyment factor. We cannot afford to have developed our skills only to the dismay of unsatisfactory results. More importantly we cannot afford to have our clientele wallow in the woes of poor judgment and mismanagement. Our thoughts are simple. Building a package that can offer exceptional results without being run at 100% of its limit is our philosophy. We have seen a proven model of success from this method. Owner- Michael Levesque - EMAIL - mike@jandmmotorsports.com
In 1988 Mike and a partner opened J&M with the goal of being the premiere Corvette performance and restoration center in New England. They built a solid reputation quickly and experienced unparalleled growth in this field immediately. In 1996 Mike and his partner ended their partnership and Mike became the sole owner of J&M. Mike’s vision was to include other performance related services for all manufactures. Using similar techniques J&M experienced success quickly with these new services and brought J&M to a whole other level.

    As time went on and the industry changed from mainly mechanical to electronic J&M was able to adjust to these changes. These changes required a change in philosophy and capabilities. Design, tuning and equipment all needed to be upgraded. Mike took on the challenge of becoming an expert in electronic tuning and with the incorporation of a State of the Art Dynojet dynamometer Mike quickly became a premiere tuner. As time went on and the field of electronic tuning grew, he continued to study and was able to stay step by step with the changes.


Performance and Restoration Technician- Donald Hyde
  Donny has been in the automotive industry since 1980. He has been with J&M Motorsports since 1993 as a Corvette Restoration Specialist. Currently Donny is responsible for most restoration projects and has a reputation as one of the finest in the area. His work is impeccable and he has a knack of increasing a vehicles value upon completion of the project. He is an expert in all carburetion and mechanical dynotuning. Donny’s years of experience with older vehicles has made him a key component of our diagnostic general repair team. He holds a CT emissions inspectors license as well.
